Push or fold charts
Heads-up, no antes, blinds 0.5/1. The small blind either jams or folds; the big blind either calls or folds. These are Nash equilibrium ranges, computed for this site from all-in equities, so neither player can gain by deviating. Real tables have antes and more players, which widen the jamming ranges; use these as the floor.
How to read the numbers
- Short stacks jam wide because the blinds are a large share of the stack and the big blind must fold a lot of hands it cannot profitably call with.
- The calling range is always tighter than the jamming range: the caller needs real equity, the jammer gets fold equity on top.
- With antes, add roughly 10 to 15 percent more hands to the jamming range. Multiway (players still to act behind you) tighten instead.
